I finally had the chance to go inside. You may have passed by this place and not know there was a bookstore.

BENCAB MUSEUM (1)
Casa Vallejo is along Session Road. The Mt. Cloud Bookshop is under it, and beside is the Baguio Cinematheque where there is free admission everyday.

The place was a bit small. You can see the whole store from where you are standing. there’s also a second floor but it was only a one long wall of  display.

The store is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 in the evening.
Here are our Book Snatches for this trip:

I’ll be back Mt. Cloud! That’s for sure.
I just hope you expand this to a little quaint cafe where we can read.

  • A life of mediocrity is a waste of life.
  • I don’t like what his smiley smile does to my stomach
  • That smile does some serious flirting with my stomach
  • I fail to look away from her.
  • She smiles when she sees me. That’s it All she did just now was smile, but all of a sudden, my chest is on fire, and it feels as if a wave of heat just rolled down the entire length of my body.
  • You know, most things people say when they’re drunk are more accurate and honest than the things they say when they’re sober.
  • Because attractio is an ugly beast, and I’ll be damned if I don’t conquer it.
  • Nothing in my life has ever felt so good yet so achingly bad.
  • My barrier completely breaks.
  • It makes my insides swurl. And just like that, my defenses are down.
  • I’m worried that feelings are the only thing in our lives that we have absolutely no control over.
  • There wasn’t a flaw in the world that could have stopped my heart from feeling what it was feeling.
  • People can’t control matters of the heart. People don’t get to choose who they fall in love with. They only get to choose who they stay in love with.
  • Sometimes in life, we need a few bad days in order to keep the good ones in perspective

Who can blame sydney? For I too would have said yes at the last part. Who would’ve said no when the boy you’re in love with just orchestrated a surprise private concert with you, invited your closest friends and sings all the songs he has written just for you? Oh, musicians. You can be heart breaking in so many ways.

So yes, Ridge. I too, would have said yes!

THOUGHTS: Hangad ko’y Ikaw

I found this when I was cleaning my room. In my Filipino class, we were tasked to create a poem in 10 minutes. And thus, this.

I’m sorry that the poem is in Tagalog (Filipino’s dialect)

Aking pagmamahal, ‘tong walang katumbas

Kaligayahan ko, sayo natamasa

Mga pighati ko, ikaw ang lunas

Binigay ang lahat, sa aking prinsesa

Gustong masulyapan, kahit san pa man

Hindi mapakali, pag wala sa mata

Saan man humanggan, tanging ikaw hanap

Hangad ko’y ikaw, Magpakailan pa man

Sapagka’t kailanma’y,

Ikaw ang hangad ko

BOOK: Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Why do we write? Why does a person write?

Because we like the sound of our own voices

To explore a new world

To be somewhere else

To make sense of ourselves

To show people what it’s like inside our heads

To stop being anything or anywhere at all

To leave our mark

To create something that will outlive us…
