And we’re back at it again! Always in the mood for some Pinoy Dishes.:D

I like their new arrangement. BTW, Bistro Indio used to be Hiyas. They just had some conflict issued regarding their name but the food remained delicious.

We ordered the Crispy Black Adobo Squid for Php 245.00. I was never a fan of Adobong Pusit, but this I recommend. It was a Calamari with a twist or Adobong Pusit with a twist. You decide. In addition to that, it wasn’t chewy at all.

Sous Vide Salpicao for Php 285.00. All because nothing can go wrong with salpicao. Except if it tastes like bubblegum — which it was no. 🙂 And generous amount of well seasoned oil.

Hmmm. And yes to going back and trying the other stuff on their menu. 🙂 Don’t you just absolutely love Kapitolyo?

Hill Station is at Casa Vallejo along Session Road.

The place was crowded when we got there so we settled for a table just beside the door.
I wasn’t able to capture a good photo but I believe the place was elegant and a good place for a date.

Since I don’t have any good pictures, let’s go straight to the food.
He ordered for Javanese Chicken – Php 295.00

According to him, there was nothing special about the dish.

I ordered Beef Salpicao and a side order of Rice – Php 195 & 40

As always, Salpicao’s never fail. A little oil and a generous amount of garlic saves the day.
Lastly, I’ve been hearing a lot of good reviews of the Death by Chocolate Cake. – Php 120.00
And so we did.
It was moist. The Vanilla Icecream goes perfectly with the half baked cake dough under it.
We can compare it to the Molten Lava Cake from Chili’s.
It was so good. It is our favorite out of the three dishes.
Truly, our death will be justified.

EAT MAKATI: Franco’s

Originally, I do have Monday Classes – Financial Accounting Class.
But then after 30 minutes of waiting, someone from the registrar went to announce that our Prof couldn’t make it.
Anyway, ended up having a date with this guy.

Franco’s at Powerplant Mall.
We ordered Four Cheese Pizza –

It’s divine. We finished everything. Thinly sliced pizza that melts in your mouth. I couldn’t get enough. I actually wanted a second serving.

We also ordered Salpicao. Their Salpicao didn’t actually have toasted garlic bits but it tastes so good.

I am coming back for sure. I wouldn’t mind ordering the same food again. I love it.
