As a self proclaimed foodie, I immediately opened this link: http://booky-wordpress-staging.us-east-1.elasticbeanstalk.com/blog/new-unique-poblacion/
and ofcourse with excitement, I really wanted to try everything on the list as soon as possible. So, I asked my judey if we can. and he willingly said yes. (thank god he wanted icecream after dinner.)
The place is near A-Venue Mall. You’ll probably miss it so better just look for this tarp outside their store. They don’t really have an actual signage yet.
Everything is done in their kitchen! 🙂 It’s always nice to see small cafes in a small neighborhood turn into something!
We finally decided to try Chocnut Banoffee and Nutella Mangga. ❤
Its amazing how it’s homemade. right? Chocnut Banoffee really tasted like banoffee pie! There were no odd tastes. It was not too sweet either. The Nutella Mangga does not really tastes like nutella enough. The Mango flavor I think overpowers the chocolate flavor. Nonetheless, it’s worth the try. Plus, the owner and staff were really nice.
Relatively new but not so new. This semi-gem is found in powerplant mall.
We ordered the Winter of Love for Php 168.
and the Mango Fever for Php 188.
I’m not quite sure if I was not in the mood for this but I didn’t like it. It wasn’t awful but it was really just so-so. Vanilla Icecream with rice crispies?
Surely, I will not be the one to force him to eat here again.
After which, Alex and I had dessert at Poetry and Prose.
THERES NO SINCERER LOVE THAN LOVE FOR FOOD.
Initially, I wanted to order for 10 chocolate Marin’s to profess my love for chocolates, unfortunately, they are out of stock.
We both ended up ordering the Chocolate Crepe — Php 345.
WTF for a crepe right? You know how crepes are, a single crepe cannot satisfy you in terms of volume — so I was surprised with the price.
It was unexpectedly so, so good! It is so much better than the Mango Loco from Cafe Breton!! The mango was sweet and the hazelnut was generously smothered all over the crepe. It was such a sweet escape.
I will definitely order this chocolate crepe next time.
I therefore revise, there’s no SINCERER love than love for hazelnut chocolate.
Most of the restaurants that I would like to try that’s on my list are mostly what I see from Anton Diaz’s post on Ourawesomeplanet – his blog. or from other people’s post or some place that’s hidden that I just passed by.
Once upon a Milshake is originally from Singapore and is owned by Alving Ng.They opened their first stall in Science Hub, Mckinley Hill last Mid Nov 2013 and their second store in the newly opened SM BF late Nov 2013.
Everybody loves milshake. A person who doesn’t love milkshake is like a person who doesn’t like Christmas. Rich Milky Goodneessss – who wouldn’t dare try?
and they have all these cute cartoons that represents all their flavors and they have all sorts of names too.
Being a Crazy Nutella Fan that I am, ofcourse my eyes were glued to HazelNutella. But I also wanted to try Crunchy Cookie Butter and Salted Caramel.
They have Premium Flavors and the Special Flavors. All of the three that I wanted was included in their Special Flavors. For their Premium Flavors, they have sizes Mini, Regular and Large with prices of Php 85, 115 and 135.
While for all their Special Flavors, they have Mini, Regular and Large too but prices are Php 115, 135 and 155 for large.
This one is their Hazelnutella in Regular Size – Php 135 – It was creamy and rich and the Hazelnutella is very evident in their taste and not too sweet too.
My friend over here enjoyed her Salted Caramel Milkshake – It was good too but not as yummy as mine was. Hahaha.
I will buy more and try different flavors! :)) or, have my other half try something else and i’ll stick to Hazelnutella? Sounds good! See you!
There is no decent photo of the place. I know, I am supposed to take a good picture of the place because it is one of its ‘oomph’ features. But sorry to disappoint, there were just too many people all the time.
All the Baby Pinks and the Baby Blues.
The lovely chairs.
The Hazelnut Kitkat Overload – cake really tastes like Hazelnut.:D YUM-MY.
The Classic Chocolate Cupcake – Never gets old. 😀 It’s not overrated. It tastes amazing!
Blueberry Cheesecake for my love. – bread or the cupcake portion was too thin.
The Famous Banana Nutella – fails it superstar features. It was good. But my expectations were too high, I think.
Our yummy choices.
We ordered Hot Lattes and Americano.
We’ll we be back to try out some more.:D
Next Stop? Massage with my love.:D
