My favorite person in the entire universe celebrates his birthday in October. ❤
Nothing better to do than to drown ourselves with food. Right? We ate at Flavors, Holiday Inn for brunch. ❤
Food was impeccable! There’s a lot of variety & service was excellent too. ❤ I was actually looking for the tempura station or a waffle / pancake and pasta station, there was none. But I was satisfied with what was on display anyway. 😀
My love enjoyed the buffet as well. ❤ It’s one of those buffets I’ll come back for.
And this could possibly be my favorite chill wine ever, Arbor Mist. It’s so light that I can actually, honestly enjoy every fuckin sip. ❤
And as if we aren’t fat enough, we dive in to some good pork & beef at Nice2meetU with my other family! ❤
Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday, Sweetheart. I love you so much. ❤ ❤ ❤
Please spend it always with me. I’m planning to make it special every year. I love you.
It was indeed a surprise. 🙂 I think this is the first time I actually witnessed a ‘supposed to be’ a suprise party come to life and actually bring tears! Good job for the liars in the family. 😀
Venue: Azumi Botique Hotel
The celebrant and her gifts.
Birthday Celebrant and her current officemates
The Birthday Celebrants and her Long Time Friends

It’s my birthday! 🙂 but of course, it was like any regular work day. So when I reported for work, look what greeted me:
Thank you for the early lunch of yellow cab pizzas and pasta, officemates! 🙂
The Birthday Dinner: Shrimp Feast at Bubba Gump! One of my favorite restaurants of all time. 🙂
And the birthday is complete. 🙂 On another day…
Next day? I am greeted with flowers, balloon and more happy birthdays inside stark! Thank you for the surprise, love. :))) I especially liked the balloons and my banoffee cake. 🙂
We had lunch at City of Dreams. No grand plans for the day though. I decided to bring him here because it’ll be his first time. After which, watched a movie at MOA. went home, watch How to get away with Murder and Suits at home.
Thank you for the surprises and all the effort, babe. :* Thank you for my very chic nude heels. :)) I love ’em! And thank you for my colored pens! :)))
And another surprise c/o my officemates. 🙂 Thank you, All! :*
Thank you for everyone who made my birthday special. Thank you babe for all the surprises, gifts and effort. I love you so much.
It’s the birthday of my rock, my guidance and the special woman in my life. 🙂
Isn’t she the prettiest?
Buttered Scallops, Adobong Pusit, Bagnet Pakbet, Salpicao, Sinigang na Hipon and Binagoongan Bagnet. :* EVERYTHING IS WORTH THE CALORIES.
Birthday Dinner at Corazon, Uptown Mall.
Happy Happy Birthday, Ma! I love youuuuu.
My Fourth Goddaughter. I feel old. Meet Anne Marie’s Daughter.:)
Oops. Although you have to settle with our faces since I don’t actually have Sophie’s Picture. Haha. We were late. And I think babies see through me (that I don’t actually like kids) — that’s why they do cry relentlessly when I try to carry them.
A simple white dress can make me happy. It need not be grand or branded or expensive. It just have to look pretty. I didn’t wish for any material thing. But God probably has other plans. Everything I wished for cannot be equated financially.
I was quite devastated with the way my birthday turned out to be. I always wanted to go somewhere new and do some new exciting stuff on my birthday (Batangas, Ilocos). But then the boyfriend cannot go on leave since he’s new in his job. Thus, the plan ended up having dinner with him, instead. Little did I know, someone would ring me at 5 in the morning, ask me to comedown and bring me flowers, cake and gifts. 🙂 (Thank you, love!) What’s more in store for my day?
I had a quick lunch with my Dad on the way to some very important meeting – which I’d claim that turned out extremely good. Can you guess where?
After my productive meeting, I met up with one of my bestfriends – Alex at Shangrila. We had lunch at Balboa. Scrap that. We had a BIG LUNCH.
We ordered for Nothing Hill at Php 268 It’s bacon and crab croquettes. I wasn’t able to taste this dish though.
And I guess you already know my staple food – Four Cheese Pizza for Php 398.
You can never, ever go wrong with Four Cheese. It’s always a guarantee that it’ll be irresistibly good.
Lastly, Picasso for Php 328 – a Truffle Mushroom Linguine.
It was bland. It was not a bad choice but there could a lot more better pasta than this one.
And we obviously had fun goofing around.
Thank you for the Pandora, fart and for the book (which I already read) Bahaha. :*
And for dinner, I had a quiet and romantic dinner with the boyfriend at Discovery Suites, 22 Prime Steak to be exact.
We both ordered for the Baby Back Ribs that comes with their salad and a cocktail already.
Thank you for making my day extra special, babe. And thank you for buying all the books on my list!
I’ll take care of the Kate Spade Earrings! 🙂 Thank youuu for all the trouble and a bigger thank you for the moral support on my meeting that day and for continuously being my fan. I love you.
And my birthday would never be complete without celebrating it with my family.
We had dinner at Fely J’s in Greenbelt.
Meet the bunch!
It was impossible to take a picture of all the food since we were at a long table.
But we ordered for Sizzling Sisig, Adobo (which was super tender), Pritong Tilapia in Plum Sauce, Gising Gising, Kare-kare, Pansit Guisado, Lechon Kawali and Mechado.
Afterwhich, they still had some room for sweets so we went straight to Gelatissimo.
Thank you all for celebrating with me.
Thank you for the Green Long Sleeves, Black Pants and Notepads.
This has been a tough year especially to this person celebrating her birthday. She has been in and out of the hospital almost every month. But God is good. She’s still with us for her 62nd year.
Happy Happy Birthday, Ta Alice!
May you continue to be showered with God’s graces!
It’s that tme o the year again: Jude’s Birthday. It’s his 25th. There were no surprises this year, which I regret. (I’m sorry, babe). I was contemplating where to book a surprise, but unfortunately, in this scenario, Cebu is an ‘unfortunate’ excuse. A small get away before the actual one is impossible. So we settled for Tagaytay instead.
Since we were more than early, we took our time in one of the biggest Starbucks, the new one.
We were planning to eat Marcia Adams. But, as the prepared girlfriend that I am, I booked no reservations. We ended up in Buon Giorno Caffe and Bistro. – No regrets!
And here we are, glad we went here on a Weekday. It was almost just us. The view was clear and it was quiet.
We started off with a wine. 😀 The boyfriend loved it.. I too, as it doesn”t have a bitter strong taste to it even though it’s red.
I hope it comes to no surprise for you that we ordered Fettucini Alla Carbonara for Php 320. A classic with cream and eggs. It was absolutely DIVINE.
Another one of our favorites, Quattro Formaggi for Php 375. It’s four cheese, obviously. And it can never go wrong! Cheese? Yes please! 😀
Now, the gift. wanted to give something that can be treasured, and kept with for a really long time. Not to be overly excited, But I wanted to give something that we hopefully pass down. 😀 Hopefully. It’s his 25th, right? Definitely, a watch. I went over with Tsovet, Nixon and Meister. Originally, I wanted Rolex (Classic) or Omega but that was clearly out of my pocket’s capacity. But look where it got me! A classic looking watch. 😀 I was literally crossing my fingers that he’d like the watch. And thankfully, he did. :)))
Happy, Happy Birthday, Babe! I love youuuuu.
It has been postponed. Now it’s time. It’s my Dad’s 60th Birthday! A milestone and a beginning of his silver years.
With his siblings, Ninang Baby and Ninang Irma.
And with my siblings, as well.
And with the guest speakers of the night. Ninang Irma, (Eldest Sister), Jeska (Eldest Child), Tito Nanny (Cousin) Tito Dan (VP where he works), Tito Manny (HS Batchmate), Tito Jimmy (Cousin) and Tito Ruben (Pres where he works).
Blowing of the cake of the celebrant.
What better way to start my day with a good ‘ol breakfast right?
The Bab fetched me around 6 to spend time during the day. He told me he had to be at the office that day.
And nothing beats the French Toast of Starbucks.
Hurried Steps, and when the guards opened the grill doors and finally the glass doors, there it was.
A Balloon filled floor welcomed me and greeted me Good Morning! It was such a surprise.
It was surreal, even. It was a tumblr worthy picture – where girls keep re-publishing. It was that type.
Towers of Balloon guarded my place. Colorful floating things floating beside my feet.
A bouquet of my favorite flowers was waiting for me at the table. A huge Charles & Keith Bag was
patiently sitting there on my desk.
A HAPPY BDAY JANNA in big bold gold letters hang on my wall. It had a nice touch. He knows what I’d love.
The Gold Accent made it perfect. It was. It is. Perfect, I tell you.
The Branch People hovered beside me. It doesn’t seem so bad to be working on your birthday. Isn’t it?
Not only did I had to go to work, I also had my Metres Class.
BUT, the admirer fetched me from school. Because of Personal Matters, had to go to the hospital afterwards.
I squeezed in a little Birthday Dinner. Barcino — Pasta and Wine.
Thank you for making everything so special. Though the Immediate Family practically let the day pass, I have you.
It’s a special day for a special someone. – And that would be the loveliest woman for my dad, and the best mom for my siblings and I. To top it off, it’s the third day of Pope Francis’ Visit here in Manila. I cannot help but think how blessed the Philippines is for gracing us with his holiness. With one year added to my Mom’s life, I am certain that with the Papal Visit, a longer and healthier life is also promised.
So you know how most of us complains how little rewards we get from all our Credit Card Usage, how we never really get anything valuable or of any use to us? Well, that’s not the case for my Mom. Sorry to break it – if you ever though she was on the same boat. Evil Laugh. I kid. But really, we got lucky. Through all the years – 10, 15 or even twenty years, my Mom has been using her SM Advantage Card every time we go on a grocery shopping, or have something to buy in the department store. And I tell you, the groceries? It’s on a weekly basis – and we are 8 in the house. We consume less than 10 grand on a weekly basis. Apart from the clothes / school year things we used to buy when we are in school.
Enough. As I was saying, we just got lucky. Someone from SMAC informed my Mom that she has an overnight stay at Nobu Manila for free. Got Lucky huh? Small Trivia: Al Pacino is one of the owners of Nobu. How cool? The evil looking – awesome actor. Anyway, I have been going on and on.
I believe this was the Deluxe Room. 2 Adults and 2 kids were allowed.
And this was waiting on our room! Happy Birthday Cake from Nobu. Ohmygod! Has anyone of you tried the N*** Cake from Cara Mia? It tastes so much like it. I love, love, love the cake. I love my mom for sharing her cake that I finished it. Muhaha. So before completely destroying the room, we stepped out to hear mass and go out for some dinner.
Exactly why I LOVE THAI. We ordered Squid Garlic, Pork Spring Roll, Veggie Spring Roll, Pad Thai, Tom Yum Shrimp Soup (Not in the picture), Crispy Catfish Salad (Beginning to be my favorite), Mixed Seafood with Basil.
Birthday Dinner of my Mom with the family.
And now, we ransacked the room. My Siblings and I. Though – not everyone stayed in the hotel ofcourse.
My Mom the next day — Birthday Lunch at Red Ginger, City of Dreams.
Happy Birthday, Ma. You know I love you.
