There are only a few moments in a person’s lifetime that take their breath away, moments that one will actually remember for a lifetime, moments that will make you cry to your core because of pure joy – and this is definitely one of them.
One year in preparation. Allow me to recount to you the start of this love story. Boy and Jojo are 1980s strict. They only rarely allow us to join our friends even if it’s for a school work. With them, you have to go home directly after school. Thus, my sister never had the chance to explore the world of failed relationships.
She said yes to her first suitor when she was on her second year at work. She was a New Accounts Representative in China Bank Sucat Branch. One of her colleagues, Bryan introduced her to one of his Childhood Bestfriends – Christopher Orozco. And that was the beginning.
After five years of shared laughter and fights, they went to their First ever trip abroad – USA Trip last October 2013. As cliché as it may sound (and how movies always always portray this), He proposed in the Airport. After their Landing, there were big placards held by Chris’ relatives that read “WILL” “YOU” “MARRY” “ME”? His mom, his dad and cousins were there. The parents were actually crying. And to no one’s surprise, she finally said YES.
And now, we come to this day, the day they will become man and wife.
